知识产权是智力劳动成果的所有权，也是科技创新、技术专利和著作版权的硕果。
习近平总书记在十九届中央政治局第二十五次集体学习时强调，创新是引领发展的第一动力，保护知识产权就是保护创新。
此后，总书记又在《求是》杂志发表重要文章强调，知识产权保护工作关系高质量发展。
作为实现高质量发展的关键动力和重要支撑，创新位居今日中国“五大发展理念”之首。创新不仅是引领发展的第一动力，更是建设现代化经济体系的战略支撑。
知识产权的转化运用，是创新驱动高质量发展的重要环节。作为创新的主体，面对快速的技术更迭、激烈的行业竞争，企业越发需要通过保护知识产权来寻求破局与创新发展。
2023年，全国法院新收各类知识产权案件54万余件，覆盖专利、商标、著作权、植物新品种、反不正当竞争和垄断等知识产权类型，涉及关键核心技术创新、国内外知名品牌、数字经济、种业等众多新时代的重点领域和行业。
例如，人工智能产品经常使用的唤醒词“小爱同学”遭到恶意抢注后，人民法院有力规制了恶意抢注他人唤醒词并滥用权利的行为，充分保护了科技创新型企业的品牌商誉。2024年2月，在贺岁档电影火热上映之际，公安机关成功摧毁多个影院盗录、网络销售盗版电影犯罪链条，查获盗版《热辣滚烫》《飞驰人生2》等影视作品80余万部(集)，及时遏制了电影盗录传播风险，营造了良好的版权保护环境。
知识产权，一头连着创新，一头还连着市场。
一方面，通过持续的科技创新，企业可以将知识产权从无形资产转化为有形资产，获得相应利润回报；另一方面，这些利润回报又可以反哺企业，支持新的技术研发，不断提高企业的核心竞争力。
知识产权是衡量企业创新能力的重要指标，也是其“核心生产资料”。唯有对知识产权进行充分保护，创新动力才会被充分激发，创新发展水平与产业竞争优势才能得到进一步提升。
党的十八大以来，以习近平同志为核心的党中央把知识产权工作摆在了更加突出的位置。
习近平总书记多次就知识产权保护工作作出重要指示，主持会议审议通过《关于强化知识产权保护的意见》等重要文件，推动我国知识产权保护顶层设计不断加强、法律制度不断完善，引领我国知识产权事业进入新时代。
党的十八大以来，我国对专利法、商标法、著作权法、反不正当竞争法等知识产权专门法律进行了多次修改，在北京、上海、广州设立知识产权法院，构建了全方位、立体化保护的知识产权法律体系。
数据显示，我国已成为全球专利申请量最多的国家。2023年，我国企业发明专利产业化率达51.3%，连续5年保持增长。在世界知识产权组织发布的《2023年全球创新指数报告》中，我国拥有全球百强科技集群数量达到24个，首次跃居全球第一。
放眼全国，各地也在因地制宜强化知识产权保护，服务创新发展。
2023年，北京市围绕新领域、新业态知识产权的创造与运用，支持205家中小微企业获取并实施专利转化，累计投入1亿元资金深入实施专利转化专项工作。
同年，浙江省在全国率先开展专利密集型产品培育和推广全国试点工作，大力推进龙头企业、链主企业创新，不断释放赋能高质量发展的创造性张力。
世界知识产权组织总干事邓鸿森认为，作为高质量发展的一部分，创新、绿色和知识产权将变得更加重要。
面向第二个百年奋斗目标，越来越多企业向“新”而行，一个个高价值专利有力促进新产业、新赛道发展，必能为经济高质量发展注入澎湃动能。
